THE WILDKOGEL RESORT

Sustainable
The Wildkogel Resort, which was realized in 2012, is excellently insulated and equipped with plastic doors, frames and windows (HR+++ glass). The authentic Austrian architectural style has been given a contemporary look here. The roof is beautifully covered with zinc. The exterior facades give the impression of being made of stacked boulders and are partly covered with pine wood. This gives the building a warm, natural look. Only indigenous wood has been used inside and outside. The complex is equipped with LED lighting and is connected to district heating. Bramberg has its own biomass power station, fired on residual wood.

The Wildkogel Resort represents top class. In all its facets, from the high-quality finished apartments and penthouses to the facilities and service. THE PENTHOUSE

The penthouse, equipped with underfloor heating, has three spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms. And furthermore, a beautiful kitchen and a spacious living room with an adjacent large balcony are also part of the penthouse. There is a second balcony that extends over the side and front facade. With a covered and heated area in the semi-open 'tower' on the corner.

The living room
Behind the front door, a spacious entrance can be found, which merges into a corridor. Both are covered with beautiful, natural-looking flagstones in a warm sand colour. All rooms are accessible from the corridor. First, we go straight ahead, where double glass doors give access to the spacious atmospheric living room and adjacent open kitchen. The facades, with many glass elements, allow a pleasant amount of daylight to enter. The magnificent view of the mountains of Hohe Tauern is never disappointing. A cosy dining area has been set up in the 'tower', near the kitchen. With room for many people at the table. The seating area is located on the balcony side. Doors in the glass wall connect the living room with the spacious, partly covered balcony. Here, the sun and a wonderful mountain backdrop can be enjoyed. The light interior walls of the living room are luxuriously finished with pine panelling. The same wood is used for the custom-made wall furniture. The floor of the living room is covered with parquet flooring, which continues seamlessly towards the kitchen. The sturdy pinewood roof construction is visible in the high ceiling. With a wink to the traditional Austrian architectural style.

The open kitchen
There is a large wood-burning stove at the transition from living room to kitchen. Warmth and cosiness intertwine. The open kitchen is designed in a minimalist Scandinavian style. Beauty in all simplicity. With white high-gloss fronts without handles and a black natural stone worktop. The kitchen is equipped with quality appliances, such as an induction hob, microwave, oven and coffee machine. And with cooling/freezing equipment as well of course.

Sleeping & bathing
Back to the corridor. A spacious bedroom is situated immediately to the right of the corridor. This room has a TV connection and plenty of closet space. There is direct access to the balcony. Directly opposite are two bathrooms. This penthouse is fully equipped for many guests. The largest bathroom has a (bubble) bath with coloured lighting, a sink (black) with vanity and a wall closet (black). The second bathroom has a walk-in shower with also vanity and a wall closet. From the corridor we now go to the second, beautiful bedroom with an adjoining private bathroom. First you enter a vestibule with fixed cupboards, then you enter the bedroom. Once again with a high ceiling consisting of a sturdy roof construction and a (shared) balcony. With a view of the gondola lift and the Sonnberg, the mountain of the village. The bathroom has a nice walk-in shower and a sink with vanity unit. This bedroom also has a separate toilet with hanging closet and sink. Finally, bedroom number three, near the front door. Again spacious, with a TV connection and access to a balcony and with a view of the gondola and the Sonnberg.

WINTER SPORTS in Bramberg and vicinity
Bramberg belongs to the Wildkogel Arena, a beautiful ski area that the village shares with neighbouring Neukirchen. Bramberg has a modern gondola, the Smaragdbahn, which takes you to 2100 meters in no time. There, you will find a valley where snow is guaranteed and, where the mayor part of slopes is concentrated. The facilities of this skiing area, think of lifts, snow cannons, slope preparation, ski bus, mountain restaurants - are perfectly matched.

The Wildkogel Arena consists for 85% of blue and red slopes. While the slopes are fairly varied in difficulty, the options for seasoned skiers may be limited. However, more black slopes can be found in nearby ski areas. If you take the ski lift in the neighbouring village of Hollersbach (5 minutes by car), at the top, you are connected to the vast ski area of ​​Kitzbühl-Kirchberg. The Zillertal Arena – Gerlosplatte, Königsleiten, Gerlos, Zell am Ziller – is also easily accessible from Bramberg by car.

Bramberg-Neukirchen has the world's longest floodlit toboggan run. No less than 14 kilometres of tobogganing fun for the whole family, also in the evening. For cross-country skiers: the 200-kilometre long Pinzgau trail leads past the village.

In the Wildkogel Arena you will find several restaurants, in many shapes and sizes. The most beautiful view can be admired at the Wildkogelhaus.

IN FOR AN ACTIVE SUMMER HOLIDAY


Walking
Bramberg is a fantastic starting point for hiking enthusiasts. The offer varies from easy climbing and unforgettable hut tours to challenging hiking trails over alpine giants of 3000 meters. Numerous marked hiking trails lead up from the Pinzgau Valley through the alpine meadows. Or take the lift up and make a beautiful tour at altitude or a descent to the village, while enjoying the silence and a breathtaking alpine panorama. And a well-deserved break at one of the mountain huts that loom up along the way. furthermore, the kids can enjoy the Kogel-Mogel Adventure Arena, a mega playground.

Hiking in the nearby Hohe Tauern Naturpark is quite an experience. With the Grossglockner (3798 m.) and the Grossvenediger (3666 m.), Austria's highest peaks. Mountain lakes, alpine meadows, typical alpine flora. There, you just encounter alpine residents like marmot and chamois. You start between the lower alpine pastures. Already stunning! From there you can continue the tour over the so-called Hochalm, the second floor so to speak, to an altitude of about 2500 meters. A bit more difficult. BRAMBERG, A TYPICAL AUSTRIAN VILLAGE
