A Paradise on Earth
This stunning villa offers panoramic views and a lush tropical garden, truly making it feel like a paradise on earth.
When it comes to a home, one of the most important things is the atmosphere. You can feel it the moment you walk in. This villa, truly uniquely located in Blue Bay Curaçao Golf & Beach Resort, exudes an undeniable charm. With its breathtaking location, panoramic sea views and tropical garden, this dream home ticks all the boxes.
Situated on a corner lot on a quiet cul-de-sac, privacy is guaranteed. The elevated position of the house also enhances the already stunning views. One of the villa’s most unique features is its panoramic view. Watch cruise ships sail in and out of the capital Willemstad or relax to the sound of the Caribbean waves. The existing beach is visible from here, and soon you’ll also have a view of a new exclusive beach and beach club that’s in development.
When the villa was built, special attention was given to capturing the refreshing breeze, a vital aspect in Curaçao. The villa’s location, surroundings, garden, and welcoming atmosphere come together to create a perfect harmony. The light, subtle interior design is chosen with great care. The blend of old wooden doors, natural stone, and spacious bedrooms clearly shows that this home was built and decorated with love. Attention to beauty and detail is evident in every corner – from the practical layout to the mix of high-quality old and new materials, and the lush carefully landscaped garden that surrounds the home.
Blue Bay is one of the safest resorts on the island, with excellent security. Luxury, comfort and above all peace, are the core values here. It’s no wonder this is a highly sought-after place to live, with all the privacy you could ask for. Thanks to its central location, all amenities are within easy reach. Living here means embracing a tropical lifestyle.
This villa features 24 solar panels, including 10 battery packs. The infinity pool, filled with refreshing magnesium-salt water, offers the perfect spot for relaxation. The villa is equipped with sleek aluminum windows, complete with shutters and screens for added comfort and privacy. A professionally designed lighting plan, with most lights equipped with dimmers, enhances the ambiance throughout the home. An automatic drip irrigation system keeps the garden lush and green with minimal effort. The entrance warmly welcomes you into this luxurious and eco-friendly home.
Entrance
A paved driveway leads to the villa, and on the left a hardwood carport offers shelter for two cars. Natural stone paths wind around the exterior. Entering through the front door, you are immediately welcomed by a sense of calm and space. The nearly 10-meter-wide glass sliding doors that run the full width of the living room, reveal a stunning infinity pool and the deep blue Caribbean Sea beyond. These doors slide into the walls, giving the space an open, airy feel. The entrance acts as the central point of the home, connecting the living room, kitchen, bedrooms and the lower floor.
A place to call home
The light peaceful interior sets the tone for the entire villa. Its fresh beach-inspired design is both clean and stylish. Wooden cabinets, timeless furniture, and thoughtful accents create a true sense of home. Here, indoor and outdoor living blend seamlessly. Sink into the spacious sofa, unwind and relax. This is where luxury, comfort, and living your best life, come together under one roof. It’s a place where you can truly be yourself—at home.
An open shelving unit with compartments of various sizes provides storage and display space for your television. The sloping roofline and the open wall between the living area and hallway add playful touches to the cozy layout.
Kitchen
The open modern kitchen featuring sleek black cabinetry, includes a wall with an oven to the left and an American-style fridge on the right. Open shelving between the cabinets adds even more storage space. In the kitchen, you’ll find high-quality appliances such as a dishwasher, oven, and a large ceramic cooktop.
Main Bedroom, wake up with a smile
Off the living room, a hallway leads to the master bedroom with rustic wooden doors concealing storage closets on either side. This spacious master bedroom features a large double bed, sliding glass doors, and windows with shutters. Long grey curtains add a soft elegant touch. Open them in the morning and start your day with a smile—who wouldn’t love waking up to a view of the sea? The crisp white walls and ceiling match the minimalist décor perfectly. The bed sits against a low partition wall, and behind it, two impressive antique solid wooden doors, each standing three meters tall, open into the en-suite bathroom.
Bathroom 1
Inside the bathroom, matching vanities with sinks, built-in faucets, and handy niches for toiletries sit on either side. From the window above the left vanity, you can enjoy a view of the sea as you go about your morning routine. A large mirror hangs above the right vanity. To the left, a glass door leads to the toilet, with its hanging design and a small shuttered window. Even here, you’ll have a stunning view of the calm waters.
The Shower: A Showpiece
The spacious walk-in shower is hidden behind a glass door on the right, featuring a luxurious rain shower and a built-in niche. The bathroom, finished in smooth beton-ciré, has a symmetrical layout. Its vaulted wooden ceiling with exposed beams creates a warm and cozy atmosphere. Wooden louvered doors at the back of the room provide storage space for hanging and folded clothes.
Lower Floor Layout
Bedrooms 2 and 3
Returning to the central entrance, take a left to enter a hallway with more storage hidden behind a large wooden door.
Storage behind louvered doors
The right-hand bedroom opens onto the terrace through sliding doors. This bright room is spacious enough for a double bed. A nice touch is the small window with shutters in the corner behind the bed. Built-in closets with louvered wooden doors offer plenty of hanging and shelving space, contrasting beautifully with the crisp white décor. The third bedroom, located across the hallway, is of a similar size. Instead of sliding doors, natural light enters through three long, narrow windows with shutters. High-quality ceiling fans made in the Netherlands hang from the high ceiling. A small desk is neatly tucked between the two built-in wardrobes.
Shared Bathroom
The bedrooms share a toilet and a separate bathroom. The toilet room features a small sink and a window with shutters. The adjacent bathroom, styled similarly to the master en-suite, has a double sink with a large mirror and in-wall faucets. A spacious walk-in rain shower sits behind a partition wall.
View of the Banana Trees
From the living room, a small stone staircase leads down to the lower floor. Here you’ll find the fourth bedroom, complete with an en-suite bathroom and terrace. Sliding doors open onto the large lower terrace, and the room has enough space for a king-size bed. Just like the other bedrooms, this room has air conditioning and a ceiling fan. Built-in closets surround a small desk. The garden, visible through the sliding doors, beckons with its beauty.
Bathroom 2
Similar in design to the master en-suite, this bathroom is bright, practical, and spacious. A vanity with drawers and a mirror is positioned to the left of the entrance. Behind a low wall you will find the toilet, and next to it you’ll find a walk-in shower.
Outdoor Area
Infinity Pool and Sunbathing
The large main terrace (200 m²) is mostly covered, paved with natural stone, and perfectly positioned to catch the breeze. The centerpiece is the infinity pool, with its sleek design and LED lighting. The pool is filled with magnesium-salt water, which is of higher quality than regular pool water. Sunbathing is just a few steps away—two lounge chairs await on a hardwood extension of the main terrace.
Watch the Sunset from a Hammock
Several seating areas are dotted around the terrace. On the right side of the living room, you’ll find two cozy corners with custom-built hardwood benches and soft cushions. A second side terrace offers a fantastic view of the cliff. Want to watch the sunset? Stay here for a while and enjoy the view. In the morning, the cliff is beautifully lit by the rising sun. Palm trees surrounding the terrace add a tropical vibe and provide welcome shade as you relax in the hammock.
A Garden of Eden
Take the stone steps down to the lower terrace, where an outdoor kitchen awaits, complete with a sink and a fridge. One of the most impressive parts of the tropical garden is on the lee side of the house. In the mood for a fresh banana? No need for a trip to the supermarket—just pick one from your own garden! Calling it a garden is an understatement, though. This green paradise, with its fig trees, lime trees, pomegranates, and a vibrant display of colorful flowers, feels like Curaçao’s very own Garden of Eden. Even hummingbirds are frequent visitors. The word “paradise” truly fits here. A labyrinth of stone paths weaves through the garden, offering plenty to explore.
A Starry Sky
At the bottom of the garden, there’s a small private sandy area that doesn’t border the sea but offers stunning views of the turquoise waters. This is a perfect spot to enjoy the sunset, and as night falls, stay a little longer to take in the breathtaking starry sky.
Green Oasis or Beach Views?
In the future, a new beach will be added further enhancing the already incredible view. In preparation for this, the current owners have planted a hedge, which you can maintain at your desired height. This way, you’ll be able to choose between an open view of the beach or your own private green oasis.
Sustainable and Self-Sufficient
The garden features an outdoor shower and an irrigation system for the surrounding plants and trees. Rainwater is collected through the roof pillars and stored in a large 50-cubic-meter tank beneath the terrace. Together with the 24 solar panels connected to battery packs in the technical room, these sustainable features make the villa largely self-sufficient.
Convenience at Blue Bay
The villa is just a ten-minute drive from the airport and the city of Willemstad. Supermarkets are located just outside the resort, minutes away. And with an 18-hole golf course, a dive school, a Tennis court and several restaurants, there’s never a dull moment at the beautifully landscaped Blue Bay Resort.
