The center of Willemstad is a half-hour drive away, and Hato Airport is twenty minutes away. A stunning resort, consisting of an international mix of residents who either permanently reside here or use their villa as a second home, sometimes in combination with profitable rental possibilities. Those who live here easily make friends. The park has 24/7 security and is accessible through a single entrance gate. Close to numerous popular beaches, Coral Estate has several private beaches, often in combination with the most fantastic beach clubs. Restaurant Karakter – by the sea – and Rooftop Terrace Bar Koraal are highly regarded. Coral Estate also features a spa and a diving school. At the bakery Bread and More, fresh sandwiches are always ready for a delightful breakfast or brunch. 

The villa 

As you drive up the beautifully paved driveway to the villa, you’re immediately overwhelmed by the tropical plants and coconut palms on the private plot. Here, the best of nature has been preserved. We leave the private cinema – which, with three additional sleeping spaces and a bathroom, can also function as a guesthouse – to the left and continue on to the white villa. What a sight. Sleek, dazzlingly bright, and it’s immediately apparent how spacious the architecture is. 

A spacious experience 

Upon entering, the big surprise of this home awaits. The total height has been utilized for the living area, in open connection with a beautiful designer kitchen. A dimensional experience, but not just that. Due to the height, the interior will always remain pleasantly cool. The sightlines have been carefully chosen. From the living area, not only the veranda, the outdoor terrace, and the pool catch the eye, but the sea also demands attention. On a clear day, even the contours of the mainland of Venezuela can be spotted here. 

Who gets the master bedroom… 

The sleeping areas are located in the wings of the villa. Both on the ground floor and on the upper floor, accessible from the gallery adorned with decorations on the walls. A well-thought-out layout, as it allows you to comfortably accommodate a large family without getting in each other’s way. Even in smaller groups, you never feel lost in this sea of space. On the ground floor, there are also the first four bedrooms. Each with air conditioning and, of course, a private bathroom. Who gets the master bedroom? There’s no need for words on that. Because there is a master bedroom on both the ground floor and the upper floor, both with a view of the sea. It’s a dreamy awakening, under the sunny sky with a view of the Caribbean Sea… 

Or shall we sleep outside?  

Waking up like this is also possible on the upper floor, where a master bedroom and a very spacious bedroom – with its own bathroom and toilet – have direct access to the large covered terrace. Here, the symmetry of the villa might be most evident. The spacious central part of the veranda has room for a daybed. Here, with a cooling breeze as your best friend, you can spend the night. Sheltered and yet outside, with the breathtaking view over the private beach and the sea. 

Swimming along with a seahorse 

We’ve already mentioned the large pool on the natural stone sun terrace, the jacuzzi, and the porch with its long dining table. Descend, via the charming natural stone steps, to reach the fine sandy beach in a playful manner. Along the way, we come across the first palapa, an open space with a roof of palm leaves that offers shade and cooling. Perfect for a siesta on this tropical island. On the beach, we find the second palapa; this time, a wooden roof above the sun loungers provides shade. Step into the sea and don’t forget your snorkel. Here, just below the water’s surface, you’ll find the most beautiful corals and you might even swim alongside a turtle or a seahorse. Dolphins are also frequently spotted in this area. 

Privacy and Luxury  

Paradise on Earth. Without exaggeration, we can call this villa just that. Optimal privacy in an environment that seamlessly combines simplicity and luxury in the best possible way. Living in nature, on a colorful island, in a resort that is maximally secured. However, the current owner has never enjoyed a stay in his villa. His waterfront villa is located a bit further down the way. 

Since acquiring this villa in 2015, it has always been rented out and managed by a property manager. The owner ensured that his guests not only had the luxury of the villa at their disposal but could also enjoy many extras if desired. “A private chef, a relaxing in-home massage, someone to do your groceries if needed – on Curaçao, it’s all arranged with a snap of your fingers.”
